Ghanaian young chief celebrates 5th Anniversary by giving back to Yamfo Community

Nana Aduse Poku Marfo is the Kronkohene in the Yamfo tradition area. It has also been said he is the youngest sub-chief in the Ahafo region.

Nana Audse Poku Marfo was born and raised in the United States.

In 2019 he went back to Ghana to bury his late grandmother and then was enstooled as a chief in front of the whole Yamfo community as the Kronkohene on July 31, 2019. He has been the Kronkohene for five years now and counting.

To celebrate his fifth anniversary as Kronkohene, Nana has decided to collaborate with another chief in the community, Nana Aduse Poku Darko II Benkumhene to give back to their community by building a bathroom facility for the Yamfo Anglican Primary & Junior High School.

Nana does plan to host an event sometime during the summer to raise money to make this possible.

It can be said that Nana Aduse Poku Marfo has become a true inspiration, and public figure to the Ghanaian community.

As a young chief who wasn’t born nor raised in Ghana and able to embrace his rich Ashanti culture and display it beautifully to the world is truly amazing.

To celebrate with Nana Aduse Poke Marfo, a GoFundMe link will be provided for any contributions towards his goal.
