The National Film Authority (NFA) has reached an agreement with Pixel Ray Studios, a multimedia production business based in the United States, to construct over 200-arce full-service audio-visual studios in Ghana, as well as other amenities.
The studios will offer state-of-the-art production and post-production services to local Ghanaian, African and international film and content producers for the development of scripted and unscripted content, films, TV series, commercials, OTT content, podcasts, music videos, etc.
Chief executive officer of NFA Juliet Yaa Asantewaa Asante says the studios will also serve as entertainment and tourist attractions for local and international tourists through activities such as set visits and other fun engagements.
“This partnership is timely as Ghana positions itself as a film hub, an attractive shooting destination, and a cinema gateway to Africa,” said the CEO of NFA,” she said.
