Mrs. Hannah Ama Koomson (ACII-UK, ACIIG, MSc) is a Business Development Manager at First Anchor Risk Management.
She holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in International Business and Business Administration, both from the University of Ghana Business School.
She is a Chartered Insurance Broker with over 8 years of experience providing Insurance and Risk Management Advice to both multinational and local enterprises.
She is skilled in developing strategy, managing corporate clients’ insurance portfolios, providing risk management advice, and maintaining key accounts.
She is also in charge of overseeing and developing material for online marketing and takes an interest in conducting research and analysing data and trends in the Insurance Industry.
Mrs. Koomson’s specialty lies in the general insurance business with much focus on public and private sector businesses. She brings high-level expertise to her clients and works diligently with them to find a plan that meets all of their concerns.
She believes in responsibility, trust, integrity, and service excellence as her core values.
Mrs. Koomson is an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (Ghana) where she’s a member of the External and Public Relations Committee. She’s also the country representative (Ghana) for WLIA Africa.
Aside from insurance, she has a keen interest in mentoring young students to meet the demands of the corporate world where she runs a foundation with her friends called, “Afedziwa & Friend”.
They help children with special needs and care for the destitute in the society.
She has hosted and moderated corporate events, seminars, and webinars and also enjoys doing outreach work for the Lord.
In her spare time, she enjoys writing social stories and spending time with her family.
