Okyeame Kwame, Epixode, others to perform at Ghana Day Festival in Switzerland

The 4th annual Ghana Day Festival will be held on June 30 and July 1 in Zurich, Switzerland.

The two-day event will feature a star-studded lineup of Ghanaian artists, including Oheneba Kissi, Adane Best, KK Fosu, Kwaisey Pee, Dada KD, Okyeame Kwame, Dada Hafco, Epixode, and Aka Blay.

The festival is organized by the Association of Ghanaian Unions Switzerland (AGUS) and is designed to showcase Ghanaian culture and music.

Highlife music, a genre that is one of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritages, will be a major focus of the festival.

This is the first-ever Highlife music open-air concert to be staged in Switzerland.

In addition to the music, the festival will also feature traditional Ghanaian food, dance, and drumming. There will also be a marketplace where attendees can purchase Ghanaian souvenirs and gifts.

The Association of Ghanaian Unions Switzerland (AGUS) is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of Ghanaians living in Switzerland.
