The eligible genres for consideration include Afrobeat, Afro-fusion, Afro-pop, Afro beats, Alte, Amapiano, Bongo Flava, Genge, Kizomba, Cimurenga, High life, Fuji, Kwassa, Ndombolo, Mapouka, Ghanaian drill, Afro-House, South African hip hop, and Ethio jazz.
