Meta is launching a new VR games subscription service called Meta Quest+.
In a new blog post, the company announced the new service costs $7.99 monthly or $59.99.
To incentivize people, Meta announced that if you sign up for a monthly subscription before July 31, you will only have to pay $1 for the first month.
The service is available for the Meta Quest 2, Quest Pro, and Quest 3 when that headset launches later this year.
“With a combination of VR’s biggest hits, hidden gems, and back-catalog classics, this is the most affordable way to grow your library with killer content,” Meta wrote in the blog post.
Those subscribed to Quest+ get to redeem two titles in the Meta Quest app each month, similar to services like PlayStation Plus. And like PlayStation Plus, you only have access to the games you redeemed as long as you remain subscribed to Quest+.
The first two games selected are Cloudheead Games’ Pistol Whip and ARVORE Immersive Experiences’ Pixel Ripped 1995. And Meta announced the games available for August are Walkabout Mini Golf and Mothergunship: Forge.
