Meet Irene Naa Odarley Lamptey, CEO of Eassy Foods Ghana

Irene Naa Odarley Lamptey is the founder of Eassy Foods Ghana, a start-up company that offers healthy and high-quality Fruit Juices, Frozen Fruits, and Dry Fruits.

To make healthy foods more accessible, Miss Lamptey founded Eassy Foods Ghana three years ago. They have locations in Kasoa, Madina, and Nungua In Accra, Ghana.

“When we started, we wanted to make healthy foods easily accessible to the customer. You know if you’re very hungry you will take the next thing that is closest to you” she said.

Eassy Foods Ghana also partners with dieticians to educate school children and women’s organizations on how to eat healthy while still choosing our local foods.

“It’s not always just salad and juice, that means you are eating healthy. You can eat our local foods and remain healthy. So those are the kind of projects that we run so that people would understand what it means to be eating healthy foods” she added.

Miss Lamptey has impacted her community by creating job opportunities and promoting healthy living.

Irene Naa Odarley Lamptey attended Accra Girls Senior High School where she offered General Science.

At the tertiary level, she holds an MEng. Chemical Engineering from Stellenbosch University and a BSc. Petrochemical Engineering from KNUST, Ghana.

“Unfortunately a lot of people do not accept a graduate, somewhat running a business. Starting a small business is not only for school dropouts. Everybody who has the passion can make it work. So we should create more room and opportunities and support people who want to make a difference.”
