You’re on the right track – Christian Council to Dampare

The Christian Council of Ghana has expressed appreciation for the police service’s outreach to key stakeholders as part of enhancing public engagement.

This comes after Inspector General of Police George Akuffo Dampare and the Police Management Board met with the Council in Accra on Thursday. It was part of ongoing police engagement with stakeholders for end-of-year security preparations.

Council Chairman Apostle Eric Nyamekye of The Church of Pentecost thanked the IGP for taking time to explain security matters to them. He said the police’s education was invaluable and that the Council supports the police service.

Bishop Gordon Kisseih, First Vice-President of the Council, added the Council is happy with the police leadership and their approach. He assured the IGP of the Council’s backing.

In turn, IGP Dampare gave assurance that the police are prepared to deliver an “overdose” of security this Christmas. He thanked the Council for their support.

The Council expressed the police outreach has built goodwill and they are impressed with the service’s leadership in engaging stakeholders for the public good.
