Ghana’s newly appointed Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has declared the country open for business, urging investors and partners to support its economic growth.
In an X( Twitter) post on January 12, following his unanimous approval by Parliament’s Appointments Committee, he reaffirmed his commitment to reducing inflation, stabilizing the Cedi, creating jobs, and promoting inclusive growth for all Ghanaians.
According to data from the Central Bank, Ghana’s inflation currently stands at 23.8% and many are expectant of a better turn of events to yield foreign direct investments into the various sectors for jobs and ultimate economic growth.
