ACCRA, GHANA — The woman spotted in the closing moments of IShowSpeed’s Ghana stream is Hamamat Montia, a former beauty queen turned entrepreneur who revealed after the stream that she is now booked until March following the viral appearance.

Montia’s brief feature in the popular YouTuber’s Africa tour finale has sparked renewed interest in her beauty empire, with the entrepreneur confirming her schedule is now fully packed through March 2026.

The 38-year-old businesswoman won Miss Malaika in 2006 and Model of Africa Universe in 2007 before transitioning into entrepreneurship.

She is the founder of Hamamat African Beauty, a shea butter processing and natural beauty brand, and owns Hamamat African Village.

Born in Bolgatanga in Ghana’s Upper East Region, Montia built her business empire around handmade natural products including shea butter, African Black Soap, and body scrubs that ship worldwide. The brand gained significant attention after rapper Sarkodie promoted it in 2019.

From beauty queen to business mogul, Montia has built a brand celebrating African natural beauty and empowering rural women through shea butter production.
