The Embassy of Ghana in Doha has issued an urgent security alert advising all Ghanaians in Qatar to take shelter following recent missile activity in the region.

In a statement, the embassy urged citizens to remain indoors, avoid military sites and crowded areas, and keep essential supplies such as food and medication on hand.

Ghanaians in need of assistance have been asked to contact the embassy via its emergency hotlines:
+974 44 36 44 86 or +974 70 13 62 81, or by email at doha@mfa.gov.gh.

The embassy is located at Zone 66, Street 576, Building 7, Al-Dafina, Doha.

The alert comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with authorities warning of potential risks to civilians.

The embassy said it will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
