American marketing executive and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma “Boz” Saint John and her partner, Keely Watson, have married in a traditional Ghanaian wedding ceremony in Accra.
The couple tied the knot on Friday, August 21, 2026, in a celebration rooted in Akan tradition and attended by hundreds of family members, friends and high-profile guests.
The ceremony took place at the Accra residence of former Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. The multi-day celebration showcased Ghanaian culture through traditional customs, fashion, music and décor.
Saint John and Watson wore elaborate Ghanaian-inspired outfits, including Kente, as they took part in the traditional marriage ceremony. Saint John has described the Akan ceremony as a deeply meaningful way of honouring her heritage, family and ancestors.
The wedding attracted several prominent guests, including Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley and Sutton Stracke, as well as Jennifer Tilly. Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage was also among the celebrities reported to have attended the celebration.
For Saint John, who was born to Ghanaian parents and became a Ghanaian citizen in 2022, the ceremony offered an opportunity to celebrate her connection to Ghana and incorporate its traditions into her marriage.
The Accra ceremony is the first of two wedding celebrations planned by the couple. They are scheduled to hold a second celebration in Los Angeles on November 21, 2026, featuring a more traditional American-style wedding.
The wedding has generated significant attention online, with photographs and videos from the celebrations highlighting the couple’s traditional attire, their celebrity guests and the colourful Ghanaian festivities.
