Excellence with the 4th Annual Kente-Fest, presented by the Ghana Heritage Kente Festival Committee New York, the event is themed “Kente, a Symbol of Our Unique National Cohesion”. (a celebration of cultural diversity)
This annual Ghana focused event will be held on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 7pm in New York City at the Tropical Reflections Ballroom, located at 4501 Glenwood Road Brooklyn, NY 112O3.
The evening will be hosted by a mixture of VIPs along with live music, entertainment and the coronation of Kente King and Kente Queen. This affair will offer a sumptuous array of Ghanaian cuisine, as well as an interactive demonstration of the different ways in how to wear Kente attire for both men and women.
This exciting evening will be symbolically fueled, charged by pride with its focus aimed at creating synergy by brining sponsors, individuals, community leaders, celebrities, organizations and institutions together into this Unity for restoration mission. Also, it is an opportunity to recognize some of the outstanding and dedicated individuals that have served the Ghanaian/African /Caribbean and the entire community.
The occasion will also offer an immense opportunity to display and promote the strength and conviction of people of Ghana and Africa with their spirit, pride and ancestral legacy. As such, a celebration of Ghana’s heritage in this way will be through the powerful symbol of Kente.
