Gospel Cultural Band MOFA: Spreading the Gospel through African Culture

The Gospel Cultural Band, MOFA, is a Ghanaian music group that spreads the Gospel through music while portraying African culture.

The band has changed the usual way of gospel music by presenting a distinct style through the African Cultural way. They produce an African style of rhythm and stagecraft.

The band has been in existence since 2017 and is made up of nondenominational members from different churches across Ghana. The band’s music is soul-inspiring and spirit-filled.

The band was formed through a talent hunt show dubbed TOUCH GOD TALENTA organized by a very long-serving musician, producer, songwriter, sound engineer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Accra Ghana.

Their music is inspired by greats such as Sonny Okosun, Don Meon, Paapa Yankson, Lucky Dube, and Fela Kuti. And they have performed on numerous international stages.

The group has two albums to their credit and some of their songs are African God, Nyame Aye, Otumfu Nyame, He is YAHWEH, None like you, and The saints among others.

They will be touring the US from September to December 2022.
