The Africa Business Investment Summit (ABIS) 2026 is set to bring together African leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and global capital over two days in Washington, D.C., with a focus on turning investment opportunities into concrete commitments.
The summit, scheduled for 27–28 August 2026, will provide a platform for African growth opportunities and bankable projects to connect with international investors.
Organisers say the event will move beyond discussions about Africa’s economic potential by creating opportunities for bilateral meetings, investment agreements and diaspora investment pathways.
The programme will examine Africa’s investment landscape and provide participants with opportunities to engage directly with potential partners and investors.
Registration deadline
Participants were asked to confirm their attendance by Friday, 21 August, ahead of the summit.
A registration fee waiver was also available using the code MIPAD26.
With the summit now approaching, prospective participants should check the official registration platform to confirm whether registration remains open and whether the fee-waiver code is still active.

ABIS is intended to connect Africa’s investment opportunities with global capital and help move projects from the planning stage towards financing, partnerships and implementation.
