Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has announced a donation worth N300 million to orphanages and a charity that works to keep young people away from drug abuse and addiction to mark his 32nd birthday.
Sharing the news on his Twitter page, he wrote, “Once again my birthday this year we Donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.”
This is not the first time Davido has given back to society on his birthday. Last year, he made headlines when he donated over N250 million to orphanages across Nigeria.
The funds raised through donations from friends, fans, and supporters, was distributed to support children in need. This act of kindness was praised by many, showing his love for helping the less privileged.
