The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has officially endorsed Le Diner en Blanc Accra 2025, confirming the event for Saturday, 27 December 2025.
The backing reinforces the festival season’s appeal and Ghana’s emergence as a premier destination for high-profile lifestyle experiences.
In a formal letter signed by Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, Deputy CEO for Marketing and Special Duties, on behalf of GTA’s CEO, the Authority praised Le Diner en Blanc Accra as “an elegant and sophisticated event that brings people together to enjoy a themed evening of dining under the stars.”
The endorsement underscores the event’s global footprint, noting that Le Diner en Blanc has been staged in more than 120 cities across 40 countries and continues to attract international media attention.
The GTA’s statement emphasizes that the event aligns with Ghana’s broader tourism goals: promoting the country’s rich culture, vibrant music and dance, and acclaimed cuisine.
It highlights the opportunity for tourists to experience Ghana’s hospitality in a luxurious, exclusive setting while showcasing the nation’s culinary potential on a global stage.
Dorcas Abbeyquaye, a host of Le Diner en Blanc Accra, welcomed the GTA endorsement, saying it strengthens Ghana’s position as a premier destination for world-class events that blend culture, creativity, and community.
Le Diner en Blanc began in Paris more than three decades ago, and has grown into a global phenomenon famous for its all-white dress code, secret locations, and emphasis on friendship and elegance.
The 2025 Accra edition promises a memorable night of fine dining, live music, and cultural pride beneath the Ghanaian sky.
The GTA’s endorsement signals a strategic collaboration to position Ghana as a major host for global lifestyle events during the festive season.
The event is positioned to boost tourism visibility, media coverage, and potential economic benefits through hospitality and related sectors.
