A new culturally inspired card game, ASA NTI, is set to debut at the Ghana Games Festival on 7 March at Giraffe Island, located on Fifth Ave Extension in Accra.
The game is loosely based on the historic Asante Kingdom and aims to blend entertainment with cultural education by introducing players to themes drawn from Ghana’s heritage and shared history.
Developers describe ASA NTI as a fun and interactive way to learn about culture through gaming.
By incorporating elements of Akan tradition and historical symbolism into the gameplay, the creators hope to spark interest in Ghanaian history, particularly among younger audiences.
The project seeks to make cultural exploration more accessible, turning historical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand game mechanics.
Visitors attending the festival on 7 March will be among the first to experience the card game through guided play sessions at the venue.
Facilitators will be available to help new players to understand the rules and strategy involved.
Attendees will also have an early opportunity to own the game once it is officially launched, marking its first public release.
