Ghana’s Francisca Lamini, who rose to national prominence as a finalist in the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), has graduated from Harvard University with Summa Cum Laude, the institution’s highest academic distinction.
Lamini earned a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, marking another milestone in an academic journey that has inspired many young people across Ghana.
She became widely known during the 2021 NSMQ competition, where her outstanding performance for Keta Senior High Technical School drew national attention and made her a role model for aspiring students, particularly young girls pursuing careers in science.
Her graduation from Harvard has been widely celebrated, with many praising her achievement as a source of pride for Ghana and an inspiration to future generations.
