Arsenal forward Michelle Agyemang has received her Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) from Prince William at Windsor Castle.

The 20-year-old was honoured for services to association football after helping England’s Lionesses retain their UEFA Women’s European Championship title at Euro 2025 in Switzerland. She was also named Young Player of the Tournament after scoring crucial goals in the knockout-stage victories over Sweden and Italy.

Agyemang was named in the King’s Birthday Honours List in June 2026 alongside five fellow members of England’s Euro-winning squad: Hannah Hampton, Chloe Kelly, Lauren James, Alessia Russo and Jess Carter.

England retained their European crown by beating Spain on penalties in the final in Basel.

The MBE recognises Agyemang’s contribution to English football and her role in the Lionesses’ successful title defence.
