Ghanaian multi-disciplinary artist Kofi Boachie-Ansah II, widely known by his creative moniker Beatmenace, has received formal recognition from the Grammy Awards for his role as a Contributor and Guest Artist on The Fury, an album by Antonio Vergara that earned a nomination in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
The prestigious event was held on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Taking to social media to reflect on the moment, Beatmenace expressed heartfelt gratitude for the nomination and acknowledged the collective effort behind the project.
“This honour reflects the passion, soul, and commitment of every musician, producer, and engineer who contributed to The Fury,” he shared on X (formerly Twitter).
He extended congratulations to all nominees and winners, praising their role in advancing global music culture. Beatmenace also welcomed the Recording Academy’s 2025 New Member Class, urging them to use their platforms to tell authentic stories and shape the future of the industry.

A member of the Recording Academy’s 2024 Voting Member Class, Boachie-Ansah has also served as a Board Member of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
