Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has announced plans to take his flagship Rapperholic concert to London for the first time.
The event is scheduled to take place on 6 March 2026 at the Royal Albert Hall, one of the UK’s most prestigious music venues. Organisers say the show is expected to attract fans from across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Rapperholic began in Ghana in 2012, inspired by Sarkodie’s album of the same name, and has since grown into one of the country’s biggest annual music events.
The concert has been held regularly in Accra and Kumasi, drawing large crowds and featuring performances from leading Ghanaian and international artistes.
Music analysts say the London edition reflects the growing global reach of Ghana’s music industry, as more local artistes perform on major international stages.
Sarkodie, whose real name is Michael Owusu Addo, is widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential rappers. He has won several awards, including a BET Hip-Hop Award, and has collaborated with artists from Africa, Europe and the United States.
Recent editions of Rapperholic in Ghana have attracted tens of thousands of fans, with the 2025 Homecoming concert in Kumasi recording strong attendance despite heavy rainfall.
Organisers say further details, including supporting acts, will be announced in the coming weeks.
