The YouTube star MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has announced 10 content creators who will travel to Ghana as part of his global 1 Billion Acts of Kindness initiative.

The winners were selected from more than 177,000 submissions worldwide following a competition held during the 1 Billion Followers Summit, an event aimed at empowering digital creators to drive positive social change.

According to organisers, the selected creators were chosen not for the size of their online following, but for the impact and originality of their content, particularly projects focused on kindness and community service.

Those selected include Priya and Sid, Walid Elmusrati, Ella Loren Y. Bulatao, Andy Studio, Ousamma Mahreez and Godfrey Wavonya, among others.

The group will join MrBeast in Ghana to take part in a large-scale humanitarian project, which is expected to include the construction of a village designed to improve access to clean water, education and basic infrastructure.

The project will be documented and shared across MrBeast’s social media platforms, which collectively reach hundreds of millions of followers worldwide.

Organisers say the initiative is intended to demonstrate how digital influence can be used to support long-term development efforts, rather than short-term viral campaigns.

MrBeast is known for high-profile philanthropic projects across several countries, often using his online platforms to fund and publicise large-scale charitable work.
