Ampem Darkoa Ladies will begin their title defense of the Women’s FA Cup against Fosu Royals ladies following the round 64 draw which was held at the Conference room of the Ghana Football Association on Thursday, November 23, 2023.
Ampem Darkoa became two-time champions of the competition in July after beating Police Ladies 3-1 to complete a second successive domestic double.
Last season’s runners-up Police Ladies will renew their rivalry with Immigrations Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies will host lower-tier side, Blacoe Soccer Queens in an all-Western affair.
There’s also a Northern derby between Pearlpia Ladies and Northern Ladies.
Fourty-four (44)Division One League clubs and the twenty (20) top-tier clubs across the country will play at this stage of the competition.
The pairings for this round were done based on a regional basis for proximity to reduce traveling time, and cost and also to throw up more regional derbies.
The round of 64 is expected to be played between the weekend of 1st to 4th December 2023.
