Miss Earth Ghana, Cherise, returns home from Miss Earth International held in the Philippines

Miss Earth Ghana Cherise Nana Ama Asher Ayisi has arrived home safely from the Philippines.

She was warmly welcomed by Atta Kakra Kusi, Deputy Director, Ghana Tourism Authority; Miss Winnifred E. Sam, Miss Earth Ghana 2024; Miss Naa Ashiley Nartey, Miss Supranational Ghana, among others.

Cherise competed with over 70 contestants for the Miss Earth title. The pageant, which advocates for environmental awareness, conservation, and social responsibility, was held on November 5, 2025, at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines.

She impressively won four major awards: Best Appearance, Darling of the Press, Best Bikini, and 2nd Best Talent, Eco Group.

This year’s event, themed “Silver Linings,” marked the 25th edition as well as silver anniversary of the Miss Earth pageant.

Cherise Nana, Ama Asher Ayisi, Miss Earth Ghana is a law student of the University Ghana who hails from Cape Coast. She was the second runner-up of Miss Malaika 2024.

The pageant features contestants from various countries, including new debutants like Uzbekistan. Some contestants have already begun their journey, participating in activities like a symbolic tree planting ceremony and a presentation of delegates in Filipiniana-inspired ensembles.
