Ghana flood rescue operations intensify as NADMO and military evacuate affected residents

Ghana’s National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), in partnership with the 48 Engineer Regiment of the Ghana Armed Forces, has stepped up rescue operations in flood-hit communities.

The teams are working to evacuate people trapped or affected by the flooding and provide support to ensure their safety.

Authorities say the joint operation forms part of ongoing efforts to respond to the impact of the floods and protect vulnerable residents in affected areas.
